This year has been a transitional period: Rob has been putting in crazy hours creating a new studio from scratch (with friend Alex – the picture only shows a tiny part of the complex!) and all the hard work has paid off as it’s now ready to go. The songs we recorded over the last couple of years are being mixed and I think this time we’ve outdone ourselves. We’re aiming to get the mixes finished as soon as possible so the songs will be with you in the early part of 2020.
More good news is that we’ve finally found a bass player to fill the gap from when Max left. Dave Naylor is a great player who seems to be on exactly the same wavelength as us musically – we’re really excited to have recruited him and are looking forward to getting gig ready with rehearsals over the next few months. Keep an eye out on our Facebook / Twitter for details of our album launch gigs in 2020.
In the meantime, we’re still writing and demoing at home. Here’s the proof – a demo of a song that’s not on the new album, but who knows, could be on the following one with a bit of work. It’s called “I’m the Replacement”. Hope you like it!
